Community First! Village—

Austin, TX / Micro-Home Multifamily

We are honored to work with Mobile Loaves & Fishes (MLF) in their expansion of Community First! Village, a master planned community to support those coming out of chronic homelessness. Phases 3 and 4 of the project include a 127-acre expansion with designs by Mark Odom Studio, Thoughtbarn, LLC, and other MLF partners, completed in 2025.

Our design of six micro-homes ranging from 144-200 square feet each will be translated into a community of approximately 700 dwellings. Each home is designed to reflect and accommodate the different personality types of its inhabitants. All will include porches, and one will have two floors.

“Listen and empower the people who are experiencing chronic homelessness, make them feel that it is their community. Shelter should bring a feeling of safety while giving them the freedom to alter the shelter as it fits their personality and lifestyle.”
