PopStroke College Station—

College Station, TX / Hospitality

PopStroke’s second collegiate prototype in College Station — a 10,000 square foot 36-hole mini-golf course and beer garden near Texas A&M University — collaborated with Mark Odom Studio to create a new branded experience using shipping containers. In collaboration with Britten, the container concept was used to create an efficient building module while helping elevate the unique user experience by grouping the containers together to create a centralized courtyard with a full-service bar and kitchen, yard games, and outdoor dining/lounge seating with views to the course.

When Mark Odom and his team started to imagine how to make the vision for Bumble HQ’s grand staircase come to life, their biggest challenge was determining how to attach a new steel panel to the existing staircase structure. The team then had to carefully map out the hexagon pattern that wraps around the staircase.

“Supporting PopStroke in re-creating the classic pastime of mini golf into a dynamic new user experience gave us the opportunity to use containers once again under the new concept for Pop Stroke as they entered into the Texas market. We look forward to working with PopStroke over the next several years while they’re adding new locations across the county.”
