Office Manager

Mark Odom Studio, is a well-established, full-service architecture and interiors firm based in Austin. Our diverse range of project work includes residential, creative office, mixed-use/multifamily, retail, and hospitality.

Job Description:
We have an opening for a full time Office Manager and seek support on a wide variety of tasks common in a creative design service office environment with an emphasis on organization and operations including:
  • Managing the office calendar
  • Coordinate and schedule vendor presentations
  • Co-manage materials library
  • Makes meeting, event and scheduling arrangements
  • Manage overall experience and appearance of studio
  • Build relationships with staff to understand and respond to needs +receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
  • Stay up to date on company initiatives, prioritize the studio’s needs +maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment
  • Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding staff
  • Support client facing events and meetings

Qualifications Include:
  • Professional Degree with a knowledge and interest in architecture and interiors +Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with task management and scheduling software
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and switch focus with ease
  • Interest and joy for interacting with staff, clients, vendors and community partners +Thrives in a collaborative work environment
  • Procurement Experience a plus
