Which project with Mark Odom Studio are you most proud of?

The Torchy’s Tacos Woodlands location is probably the project I enjoy the most. I went there many a time during my short stint in Houston. I am just amazed by the level of detail and craft that went into fabricating the bar, paneled walls, and the ceiling elements. Great client and a great project.
Hobbies?
On the weekend you can catch me at the Town Lake Trail or the new Central Library, if the weather is too wet for running.

A good coffee and a pastry.
Where in the world would you like to visit most?
I’d really like to visit the Netherlands and bike around the row houses of Amsterdam. I think we have a lot to learn from the engineering of that city.

Iced, even in the winter.
What is your favorite thing about working for Mark Odom Studio?
The attention to design at multiple scales, from small renovations to large apartment dwellings.

Can you list one space or structure that inspired you when you were little?
I always liked visiting the Capitol [in Austin] and looking up at the pink granite dome.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I own multiple bikes.
